Gastroenterology · Pantoprazole Gastro-Resistant 40mg + Domperidone Prolonged-Release 30mg Capsules
Domrax‑DSR Capsule is a fixed‑dose combination of pantoprazole gastro‑resistant 40 mg + domperidone prolonged‑release 30 mg in a single capsule, designed for the treatment of acid‑related upper‑GI disorders with associated motility‑related symptoms like nausea, bloating, and early satiety.
The capsule is usually taken once or twice daily, typically before meals, as per physician advice for short‑ to medium‑term use in symptomatic relief.
Domperidone should be used cautiously in patients with cardiac conduction issues or arrhythmias because of QT‑prolongation risk, and normally avoided in severe renal impairment or known hypersensitivity.
Gastroenterologists – for GERD, non‑erosive reflux, gastritis, and functional dyspepsia with prominent acid‑plus‑motility symptoms.
General Physicians / Internal Medicine - for common‑presentation acidity, heartburn, indigestion, and post‑meal bloating in adults.
Surgeons / Post‑op physicians - for post‑surgical nausea, vomiting, and delayed gastric emptying‑type discomfort where short‑term prokinetic use is acceptable.
Diabetologists / Endocrinologists - as an option for diabetic gastroparesis‑related nausea and bloating, when domperidone is deemed appropriate after cardiac risk assessment.
