Domrax‑DSR Capsule is a fixed‑dose combination of pantoprazole gastro‑resistant 40 mg + domperidone prolonged‑release 30 mg in a single capsule, designed for the treatment of acid‑related upper‑GI disorders with associated motility‑related symptoms like nausea, bloating, and early satiety.
- Pantoprazole 40 mg (gastro‑resistant) reduces gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the proton pump in the stomach, thereby lowering acidity and healing erosive lesions in GERD and gastritis.
- Domperidone 30 mg (prolonged‑release) blocks dopamine D₂ receptors in the upper GI tract, increasing gastric motility, accelerating gastric emptying, and reducing nausea, vomiting, and bloating.
