Etropar Tablets
Etropar Tablet is a fixed‑dose combination of etoricoxib 60 mg + paracetamol 325 mg, used as an oral analgesic for moderate pain and fever with an added anti‑inflammatory component. It is positioned as a step‑up option when simple paracetamol may not be sufficient, especially in musculoskeletal or inflammatory pain conditions.
- Etoricoxib 60 mg is a selective COX‑2 inhibitor NSAID that reduces pain, swelling, and stiffness in joints and soft tissues with relatively less direct gastric irritation compared with older NSAIDs.
- Paracetamol 325 mg is a centrally‑acting analgesic and antipyretic that lowers fever and adds to the pain‑relieving effect, especially in mild‑to‑moderate pain.
The combination targets both peripheral inflammation (via etoricoxib) and central pain‑fever pathways (via paracetamol), making it suitable for short‑term management of various painful and febrile conditions.
